A legal deadline for absolute transfer tax application, or the so called sales tax application, is 10 days from the Purchase contract verification at the Republic Department of Public Revenue – tax office municipality where the property is located.

Besides a verified Purchase contract, a photocopy of a contract, which shows the ownership of the real-estate, is required containing a tax clause and a seal from the Republic Department of Public Revenue.

After receiving a solution regarding assessment tax, a tax payer has 15 days to pay the stated amount and deliver the document to the Republic Department of Public Revenue in order to put a seal of regulated (paid) sales tax on all photocopies of the contract.
